Yesterday, I started making board No. 30 for Lauren.  She asked me to send her photo updates from time to time on the board’s progress.  So, I thought it might be nice to share the photos here, for everyone to see.  My goal is to take at least one photo for every stage the board is in.  I did already miss the very first step of drawing the template out…but, I’ll do my best to not miss anymore.
Photo #1::  All 7 layers of the 1/16” maple veneer just before they get glued up.  You can see where I marked the center line, tail line and truck holes, then the board shape itself, all drawn on the top layer of the soon to be maple-glue sandwich.
